Module Objectives:
  1. Analyze agency strengths and weaknesses regarding compensation and health and safety programs and how they relate to motivation, morale, and productivity
  2. Research the trends and issues in contemporary society that impact the labor-management climate
    Analyze the components of a collective bargaining agreement and determine what issues are negotiable and non-negotiable
  3. Compare and contrast position versus interest-based bargaining techniques in arriving at a collective bargaining agreement
  4. Analyze the impact of mediation and binding arbitration on the collective bargaining process
