Question Pools

Instructors can accomplish a variety of functions in the pools area:

• Instructors can combine pools
• Instructors can duplicate pools
• Instructors can delete pools
• Instructors can sort by pool
• Instructors can import/export pools in standard QTI formats

Instructors may create an unlimited number of pools with various question types.

• Instructors can add/edit pool properties (title and description)
• Instructors can specify point value for questions in a pool
• Instructors can specify a difficulty level for the pool's questions
• An editor is available for the description of the pool.

Manage Questions

Instructors can add/edit questions to pools.

• Instructors can add/edit question, including any attachments.
  • Pool name
  • Question text
  • Difficulty level
  • Type of question (m/c, t/f, etc.)
  • Include reason for answer
  • Shuffle answers
  • Hint for learner
  • Feedback
• Instructors can duplicate questions (unique id's)
• Instructors can move questions from one pool to another

Survey Support

Instructors can create surveys. Any question type can be used in surveys.

Survey questions have no correct / incorrect answer key and no point value. When used in published surveys, they are anonymous and don't get listed in the gradebook.
